All Saints' Theydon Garnon Gatehouse

The Gatehouse was completely rebuilt in the year 2000. It won an award for its design.

It is available to hire and is a great venue for:

Parties, for both children and adults

Baptism celebrations

Receptions after funerals

Classes e.g. yoga and pilates

Group meetings

Quiz nights

Facilities include:

St. Mary's Theydon Bois Church Hall

St Mary's Church Hall is situated in Coppice Row between the junction with Piercing Hill and the Village Hall (see map below for precise location). There is a car park and a 'fenced in' grass area which runs along the side of the hall.

Inside is the main hall which is 60ft long, 17ft wide and 9ft high, with a stage at the far end. There are plenty of tables and chairs, including some rigid small tables and chairs suitable for younger children.

Adjacent to the hall is the kitchen, which has a serving hatch into the hall. This is fully fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, urn and kettles. The island in the centre of the kitchen gives a large work area. There are separate ladies and gents toilets in the foyer.

St. Marys Stapleford Tawney Parish Room

The Parish Room was added in 1999 and has been a fabulous addition to our community.
